NATIS Locations in Windhoek

There are three main NATIS facilities in Windhoek. Each one handles different services, so make sure you go to the right one.

1. NaTIS Valley (Main Office)

This is the primary NATIS facility in Windhoek and handles the most services, including roadworthy testing for vehicles.

Hours: Monday to Friday, typically 08:00 – 15:30. Hours may be extended during peak periods (festive season). Contact them directly for the latest schedule.

Wednesday: 09:30 – 18:00 (lunch 14:00 – 15:00)

How to Book a Roadworthy Test

Roadworthy testing is done at NaTIS Valley only. You cannot just show up — you need to book in advance. Here's how:

1. Go to NaTIS Valley in person with your vehicle documents
2. Submit the application form and a copy of your vehicle registration certificate
3. Pay the booking fee of N$150.00
4. Your test date will be printed on the payment receipt
5. Bring your vehicle on the assigned date for the inspection

What to Bring to Your Roadworthy Test

• Your vehicle (obviously — but clean it inside and out)
• Vehicle registration certificate (or certified copy)
• Booking receipt with your test date
• Valid ID document
• Spare tyre, jack, and warning triangle (they check for these)
